Why this work exists
Tembi Labs runs on one belief: access to technology should be a human right, not a privilege of geography or income. Everything we hire and organise around serves that. We run AI hackathons across the Global South, share refurbished devices, build computer rooms and grow digital and AI literacy. A career here means putting your skills against the digital divide, and seeing the result in the hands of real students.

Yes. Many people help as mentors, facilitators or jury members at hackathons and Corporate Challenge Days, often remotely. Students can take on Chapter Lead or AI Champion roles on campus.
People who listen first, work as peers rather than outsiders, and hold themselves to radical transparency. You should be comfortable wearing several hats in an early-stage initiative.
