In short
The expert in the room
Access to technology should be a human right, not a privilege of geography or income, and knowledge is the part of that access anyone can start sharing today. Every campus has a few people who others quietly rely on. The AI Champion is that role, made deliberate. You go deep on the AI tools that matter, from writing better prompts to shipping a working prototype, and you make that knowledge available to everyone around you.
Tembi prepares you with the AI education of the companies and research labs we partner with. You do not have to figure it out alone. You get structured training, hands-on practice and a mentor, and in return you lift the AI literacy of your whole community.

Why an AI Champion matters now
AI literacy is splitting into a new kind of divide. Students who learn AI tools early build faster, apply for more, and shape what gets made. Students who never get the chance fall further behind, not for lack of talent but for lack of access. An AI Champion closes that gap from the inside. By raising the AI literacy of one campus, you turn scarce access into shared digital skills that become AI skills for jobs across a whole cohort.
You do not need to be the loudest person in the room. The role suits anyone who likes to understand something properly and then help others get it too. Most Champions first show up at a student hackathon, catch the building bug, and realise they want to keep that momentum going for their peers.
